Detailed presentation
modREC is a call recording platfrom based on a X86-64 architecture computer. The software which performs the recording offers great flexility and reduced cost, since it allows sound compression utilising open algorithms in real time. The maximum capacity of TDM models (for PRI connections) can reach 480 simultaneous voice channels.
If you have SIP compatible equipment, you can take advantage of modREC's services for a better price and higher density.
System operations:
- 1:1 Redundancy (HA) It is possible to use two equal recorders monitoring the same circuits, to ensure the service's availability in all your circuits, even if one recorder fails.
- Call Data Collection by receiving any information transported through the E1 circuit and E-DSS1 signaling (EuroISDN PRI) and recording it to the data base to insure easier queries. Open architecture to embed with third party systems such as CRM, Project Management
Suites etc.
- Passive equipment which does not intervene, or in any way affect calls. The system is isolated from the electrics of your equipment's interconnection circuits with the Public Telephony Network, and operates separately.
- Channel Spy It is possible to choose an active call and send its sound data to another phone device of your choosing (without the ability to intervene).
- 1:2 Availability It is possible to distribute your circuits between two recorders, to ensure the service's availability in the rest of your circuits, even if one recorder fails.
- Record on-demand Activation of call recording
from a local endpoint by using Dual-Tone
Multi-Frequency Signalling during a call. Refers to circuits which have not set call recording as default.
- Record Undo Deletion of a call record from a local endpoint by using
Dual-Tone Multi-Frequency Signalling during a call. Refers to circuits which have set call recording as default.
