How to Enable Call Forwarding for Your Number

modulus supports multiple types of call forwarding, allowing you to redirect incoming calls to another number based on your communication needs.
This guide explains how to enable immediate and conditional call forwarding through mymodulus, shortcodes, or the Voice Portal.

    Call Forwarding

The call forwarding functionality is included in modulus services and is available in the following types:

    1. Immediate Forwarding:

    • Forwarding of all incoming calls.

    2. Conditional Forwarding – Busy:

    • Forwarding of incoming calls when your endpoint is busy.

    3. Conditional Forwarding – No Answer:

    • Forwarding of incoming calls when your endpoint does not answer within a specified time period.

    Clarifications:

    • Immediate forwarding overrides conditional forwarding. If enabled, conditional forwarding settings will not apply.

    • Conditional forwarding options can be enabled simultaneously.

    • Each forwarding type can be activated for only one destination number. Any new activation replaces the previous one.

    • Activating one forwarding type does not deactivate the others.

Note: Calls forwarded to numbers belonging to other providers are charged as outgoing calls. Please check your balance before using the service.

    1. Activating Call Forwarding:

You can activate call forwarding through the my.modulus.gr platform by following these steps:

    • In the "Telephony" --> “Endpoints” section, locate the endpoint serving the number you wish to forward.

    • Select the “off” indication and switch it to “on” in the forwarding type field.

    • Enter the number to which your calls will be forwarded.

    • For forwarding when your endpoint does not answer, enter the number of seconds in the “after” field.

    • Select "Save".

    2. Deactivating Call Forwarding

You can deactivate call forwarding through the my.modulus.gr platform by following these steps:

    • In the "Telephony" --> “Endpoints” section, locate the endpoint for which you wish to disable call forwarding.
    • Select the “on” indication and switch it to “off” in the forwarding field.
    • Select "Save".

    3. Shortcodes from the Endpoint:

     Immediate Forwarding:

    • Activation: *21* forwarding number #

    • Deactivation: #21#

    4. Conditional Forwarding (No Answer):

    • Activation: *61* forwarding number #

    • Activation: *61* no-answer timeout in seconds #

    • Deactivation: #61#

    Note for the first method:
Your phone will ring for 15 seconds and then (if unanswered), the incoming call will be forwarded to the Forwarding Number. For the second method: Your phone will ring for the number of seconds defined in the “No-answer timeout in seconds” parameter and then (if unanswered), the incoming call will be forwarded to the Forwarding Number. If your phone is out of network coverage, the incoming call will be forwarded immediately to the Forwarding Number. All the above remain active until you deactivate the service.

    5. Conditional Forwarding (Busy):

    • Activation: *67* forwarding number #

    • Deactivation: #67#

    6. Activation through the Voice Portal:

    1. Call 13000 from your modulus endpoint.

    2. Select 2 to access Digital Services.

    3. You can choose:

    •   Immediate forwarding.

    •  Conditional forwarding (when there is no answer).

    •  Conditional forwarding (when busy).

    •  Cancel all forwarding settings.
